These two simple letters are so polarizing, but they're so broad. I have some thoughts on why some people would hate AI. So, why people hate AI? Partially maybe because it's about effort and the way people see value and quality because we connect these things together. We we think like something that has a high quality, it takes time to create. It's also less available. But when something becomes like massively available and easy to create, therefore it should have a less value and be less of quality. So I think people also see AI slop this way. When they see things uh made with AI and shows that it there wasn't much work put in to create that thing, people don't like it. They see it as flop, as low quality. Like if I see something on social media and I notice that there wasn't much effort put into creating it, I just scroll by. I don't like it. I I didn't send this tweet out, but like I love the Yeti vlogs, right? They're so ridiculous. They're so funny. I love them. I don't know what was in that, but I can't freaking sleep. However, I can't help but think, hang on, you've just commanded an AI to to like generate this comedy. At least make it make sense. Like sometimes the episode just doesn't make sense. The AI has done so much of the work. Like you have the opportunity to now enhance it with your own little tweaks here and there. Remove the bloody subtitles that don't make any sense. Yeah. Like I I I agree and I've got the results of my tests so far. I'm hearing it across the board. I think a lot of people don't like that it's stolen. The thing is AI is so broad. Like I'm reading one right now and someone's saying all it does is produce slop, but like you can use AI to make your photos better or you can use AI to find cures in diseases and and it's so polarizing. These two simple letters are so polarizing, but they're so broad. And I I it does feel like a lot of the hatred comes from the creative stuff, the generative AI stuff, which is not the only application of AI. And I feel like that's what a lot of these people don't quite understand. I mean, I read through some of these people who have gone to town, which I love. It's really good to read. I don't want to, you know, dishearten their feelings, but I also can't help but feel like, but you're talking about one aspect of AI. Yeah, true.
