Open AGI, a new AI developed by a startup led by MIT PhD Zenji Quinn, is showing impressive ability to control computers autonomously. In this episode of Command AI, we discuss how Lux AI outperforms other models like Anthropic’s, and what this means for the future of AI in computer usage and design.

Open AGI have taken the lead when it comes to computer use. Now, there's one area where Anthropic really lost out on when Opus 4.5 released, and that was its ability to control computers. Now, Open AGI, which as you were saying earlier, it's like it's like, yeah, but we're the Pro Max Plus ultra, I don't know. I think they're a Chinese company to be honest. uh startup led by MIT PhD uh Zenji Quinn claims the Lux model achieves superior performance in controlling computers autonomous autonomously compared to models from open and ananthropic. I don't know how much longer they're going to keep this name open AGI. I think it's far too close for for OpenAI. It's yet to be seen what they're actually going to be doing with it. But I mean my the closest thing I have to this is I use a terminal called warp and it controls my computer through terminal commands. I don't know whether this is you know close to that but it's interesting to see something come out with such high scores um you know uh on computer usage. So it's pretty cool. This is part of a larger conversation on my show Command AI which we stream live every single week. We discuss the news and all things related to AI in the world of design and web.
