You know, Grock build it got caught red-handed. Grock would read your entire GitHub, actually clone it, and upload it and send it to our lord and savior Elon Musk. Command AI. Elon Musk went further saying all user data uploaded before uh now would be completely and utterly deleted uh with nothing left behind. So they are saying that this was a mistake and apparently maybe a bug and they're supposedly deleting the code that they were stealing. But that was kind of funny. And the results was uh XAI going completely open source with uh Grock build which is actually cool. It is really cool that it's now open source. So do do we think that they this was intentional and that they only retracted it because they got found out? Um or do you think this was a bug? At this point, honestly, I don't know. Um, it might have been a bug to be fair, but I mean, does it really matter? We know for a fact that Mark Zuckerberg was torrenting books. Like, you you can't go worse than this. Like, yeah. So, all the information that the AI has been trained uh with has been stolen. And as we speak, as we will speak about it, Kimmy as well, we see that now they are stealing from each other. Everybody is stealing from everyone. And it feels like nothing that you put out there like this thing that we are putting out there, we know that it will be stolen. Like we know they will take it. It's it doesn't make it right. But it wouldn't have taken private like they could they couldn't have taken private repos whereas obviously if you authenticate with GitHub you're giving it access to private repos. Yes. Or potentially private repos. It's like giving your Yeah. It's like giving your apartment's key to somebody to go and I don't know pick like note down something from a book you have but they just take the entire library with themselves. It's just stealing everything. So bad. Really, really, really bad. This is part of a larger conversation on my show, Command AI, which we stream live every single week. We discuss the news and all things related to AI in the world of design and web. Catch us next week and join in the banter. Command AI.
