performance does it even matter anymore? There was a time programmers would access like CPU literally they would hand code to write into the memory for best performance but we abstracted away from that step by step and now we are on a level where we say wellt was better than react it it was much better for performance but forget about all of that let's just stick with react and not just react at its best at its peak. Uh stick with React and like the general average code at best. So now we are going to have probably tons of you know code and websites and apps that are not optimized at all. And my question is does that even matter? Like actually to a point I'm doing a lot of research on styling libraries at the moment. Shad CNN, Tailwind, stuff like that. Facebook created their own styling language called Style X because they're trying to distribute to millions and every single kilobyte matters, right? To e-commerce sites, it matters how what the performance is like the how fast the user can buy a piece of clothing or whatever it is. So, it really does, but broadly for 90% or 80% of the websites out there, probably not. No one's gonna kick up a fuss if my personal website is just a little bit slow. Yeah, for for websites that don't get a lot of visitors. I get it. But well, my what you said about my website get hundreds of visitors. Well, personal website probably not. Same for my personal website. If people are not going to visit your website, it doesn't matter. So, it can have as much code and you know, shitty code as it can, but it doesn't matter. But I would say actually it matters even on your personal website if there is any conversion to be made. There's still conversions to be made, but like the the negligible speed difference whether you use spelt or Nex.js. It's more worry to nitpick around that than it is just to spin up something. Yeah, I'm going to be nitpicky. I'm going to be nitpicky about the software I use. And they're always going to be those, you know, take cars as an example. There's always going to be be people who want petrol cars, who want um manual transmission cars. We're going to be relegated to hobbyists, those who care about what framework they're using, just because they want to they want to get in the engine and, you know, nickel and dime the um you know, what it's capable of and all the rest of it. There are still people who own horses, but yeah, I am a horse.
