Check out this I don't know. Let me know what you think about this video from Anthropic. Command AI Who's going to hit the brakes if we need to? Do we really [music] need to ensure that we're aiming to achieve really does benefit the majority of people? If it ends up taking life almost all the jobs, then what does it mean to work? Can AI help me be better teacher, a better mom? Maybe it will cure some great things. There's hope in okay. So I think hard questions. Oh, there is claw.com/hardquestions. It sounded like someone thought it was a joke. Um and the response has not been particularly great given the sort of message. It continues this trend of Anthropic fear-mongering when it comes to AI. You know, it's almost like Have you ever heard of the term neg? They're making you worried about AI and that they're going to be the saviors cuz they're always talking about safety and like trust and like they care. They're they're just trying to install this idea that everyone else is horrible and like terminated two type of So who are you going to trust? The people who are calling it out on what it is, right? That I think that's what they're going for here. Okay, so let me show this. I haven't checked it uh myself, so uh Anthropic exists to answer the hardest questions about AI. Okay. Safety, governance. So we traveled across the United States to hear people's questions, concerns, and hopes about AI. This is what they shared. Uh okay, interesting. Interesting. So, basically, what you heard in that video of what I attempted to read out was people's testimonies on what they worry about when it comes to AI. We talk We have talked about people hating AI, and I would love to know from our audience if there is anyone watching and listening who hates AI, because I assume that people who watch us or like stay um they don't hate AI, but I see a lot of hate, and I see a lot of hate especially with students. I have friends who are who want to study, and they there is this uncertainty, and all of this is created by these companies basically saying "You can study, but there won't be a job for you at the end of your studies." So, there as you said, there is this fear-mongering that is Yeah, I I don't I don't think it's real. We see what AI can do, but I don't think it's I don't think we can out of everyone trust the token dealers. Mhm. Well, I think that's what they're That's what they're kind of They're playing the reverse Uno in that they're trying to make you aware of that they're aware of how bad AI is. So, the reverse psychology of it is, well, these are the trustworthy guys. Now, I don't think these people who they asked these questions are anti-AI. I think the people they asked are pro Sorry, that must have sounded weird. Are pro-AI, but were open to sharing what they worried most about it. Because if you talk to anyone who's not who who's anti-AI, you know, I'd I'd be interested to hear those conversations with Anthropic. I bet they would have got a kick in the shin and a spit in the mouth. You know, they would have been like, you know, you've you've stolen all of this stuff or like um uh you're you're taking away uh people like artistry and artists' jobs and things like that. You've killed industry. Do you know what I mean? Like it's We we've all heard it before. anthropic.com/pathtohopen There we go. You see? Anthropic is the path to hope. Yeah. How does AI work? What is AI's impact on society? We don't know any of Like w- It's funny [snorts] that we don't even know how AI works. Not really really Well, we should cover it. We Who should govern AI? We know that it's governments, right? Like Yeah. You've heard a fable getting uh banned, right? You've Something happened. You've probably heard it. Yeah, yeah. Something about that. Yeah. Yeah. So, we we know like the the government is controlling AI. Not the people. This is part of a larger conversation on my show, Command AI, which we stream live every single week. We discuss the news and all things related to AI in the world of design and web. Catch us next week and join in the banter. Command AI
